Koi is known as a shi-shi spot for celebrity sightings in LA’s glam scene. “The cuisine is Japanese-inspired with California accents. Decor is a stylish, harmonious blend of custom furniture, earth tones and soft light. Natural materials are used in a floor plan that follows the rigors of feng shui.”

Food I swear the food here used to be good. Either my palate's gotten more discriminating in the last 3 years or the food here has really gone down. Everything from the sushi bar was fantastic - that's the only reason it's getting 6 stars for food. Fresh, well-prepared...but then again, if you're paying that much for sushi, there's much better places to go...like Jinpachi for one. The lamb chops were just awful...with overly sweet glaze. Their specialty albacore with crispy onions is a disgrace! It's like putting funions on beautiful, fresh tuna fish. I came here for the food...and left disappointed.
Bartender/Staff I usually like my bartender and staff. They work hard, they mean well...Chi was very, very sweet. He's the guy you want at the sushi bar. Our waiter, Jason was also very helpful and nice. But comparatively, there wasn't a whole lot of effort put into the "experience," especially for a Friday night. I imagine it could have a lot to do with the management as well...Read below.
Attitude I think this place is a corporate franchise. There's one in Bangkok, NY...Vegas? Just a gut feeling...but this place seems like it's under very tight management.
Scene I personally wouldn't come here for the scene. It's all industry people and bizarrely, was pretty much empty on a Friday night. Not too many local bar diners...not too friendly. It's a good place to bring a tourist just to check out "the scene," but otherwise...there's places that are much more fun and inviting.
Get Lucky Factor Like I said in my blog article, there was an elegant attractive woman sitting alone at the bar and no one approached. There seems to be an attitude in this place...No warm, fuzzy people hanging out around the bar. Am I being too harsh? Maybe I should try a different night. Ah fuck it, that's why there's user reviews...I dare you to challenge me.
General Thoughts I had fun, but then again, I'm easy...I have fun anywhere, but I wouldn't recommend the place to you guys. There's much friendlier places in the area.

Jordan Retro 5 Payton said he suspects there will be moments this fall when he's watching the Saints and struggles with the fact that he cannot be with the club, but said those feelings won't overwhelm him because of the enjoyment he'll get from being with Connor and teenage daughter Meghan. cheap jordan 11
